Chris Kirckof Head Strength and Conditioning Coach

Chris Kirckof is in his first season as the strength and conditioning coach at The University of South Dakota. Kirckof, a native of Rochester, Minn., was named to the position in Aug. 2009.
Kirckof comes to USD from the University of Minnesota-Duluth, where he served as the head of football and basketball strength conditioning for three years. He also served as assistant strength and conditioning coach.
At UMD, he designed, organized and implemented all aspects of football training, plus also worked with testing and evaluation of athletes. He also assisted UMD’s men’s and women’s hockey program along with several other sports. Kirckof is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Kirckof earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Minnesota-Duluth in 2006 and his master’s degree in education from the school in 2009.
