Dianna Olson

Dianna Olson is in her 10th year as program assistant in the University of South Dakota athletic department in 2010-11. Olson has served in her current position since Dec. 2001.

Olson’s duties include assisting USD Athletics Director Joel Nielsen and the Coyote Athletic Staff. In addition, Olson also prepares and maintains files for scholarship award letters and NLI forms, competition reports for each sport, payroll documents and maintaining files for DakotaDome lease contracts.

Olson, a native of Centerville, S.D., graduated from Nettleton Commercial College in Dec. 1972. She also previous worked for the Burroughs Corporation out of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Southeastern Electric. From 1984-2001, Olson worked at the USD School of Medicine, Biochemistry and Basic Biomedical Sciences.

Olson and her husband, David, have two children, Tonya and Ryan.
