ANAHEIM, Calif. - The University of South Dakota athletic department received two awards from the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators, it was announced on Wednesday.

The NACMA Awards program recognizes outstanding achievement in marketing and promotions. Awards are presented in 16 categories, with more than 650 entries submitted for this year’s contest.

USD received first place (gold) honors in Group II for the top radio commercial, while earning third-place (bronze) honors in Group II in the TV commercial category.

USD director of marketing and promotions Travis Lee worked with Epic Multimedia of Sioux Falls, S.D., to produce the radio and TV commercials.

The awards were presented during a ceremony on Wednesday in Anaheim, Calif.
