Vermillion, S.D. – Trips to several prestigious meets and a Dakota Days home meet highlight the 2010 South Dakota cross country schedule, which was released by head coach Dan Fitzsimmons on Monday. The Coyotes will travel to a total of six meets during the season.

Vermillion, S.D. - The University of South Dakota harriers conclude their 2009 campaign at the Great West Conference Championships on Saturday morning at Van Cortlandt Park in Bronx, N.Y. The event, hosted by New Jersey Institute of Technology, will commence with the men’s 8k at 8:45 a.m., while the women will follow with a 6k at 9:45 a.m.

USD Cross Country Squads Fare Well at Chili Pepper Festival
Vermillion, S.D. – Running against nationally-ranked teams at one of the biggest meets of the year, the South Dakota cross country teams fought cold and muddy conditions to claim respectable finishes at the Chili Pepper Festival in Fayetteville, Ark., on Saturday. The USD men claimed 17th, while women were 18th. Both squads beat several reputable Division I foes, including Wyoming and LSU.
